Dress Code

Non-Competitive Dancers

  • Ballet: Any color leotard and tights. Pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirts, tutu’s, and leg warmers are also allowed. Hair should be up neatly and off of the dancer’s face and neck.
  • Tap, Jazz, Stretch & Leaps Classes: Any color leotard and tights. Black tap shoes and black jazz shoes. Hot shorts, jazz pants, capris and form fitted tanks/camisole tops are also allowed. Hair should be up neatly and off of the dancer’s face and neck.
  • Hip Hop: Sweatpants or other loose-fitting athletic pants and a tank top or t-shirt are the usual attire for hip-hop class. Tennis shoes or jazz shoes are great for class.

Competitive Teams

  • Ballet: Black leotard, tan tights and pink ballet shoes. (canvas ballet shoes are preferred but leather is also allowed.) Hair should be up neatly and off of the dancer’s face and neck. A neat bun in preferred.
  • Tap, Jazz & Lyrical Classes: Black tank top, any color sports bra, plain black hot shorts and tan tights. Tan tap and jazz shoes. Elite 1/Super Elite requires foot undies. Hair should be up neatly and off of the dancer’s face and neck.

* All items for competitive teams must be purchased through the studio with the exception of the plain black hot shorts.
